Jeannie A. Baquero, MD

Jeannie Baquero, MD attended Texas A&M University and received her BS in Microbiology. After graduating from Texas A&M, Dr. Baquero received a scholarship from United States Army to attend Medical School. She was commissioned as a CPT in the Army & Attended Medical School at Texas A&M College of Medicine. Once she completed Medical School, she completed her residency at Brooke Army Medical Center and her fellowship at Walter Reed Medical Center. She returned to Brook Army Medical Center and became Chief of Endocrinology. Upon completion of her commitment to the US Army she took a position as a civilian at Walter Reed Medical Center as the Director of the Diabetes Outreach Clinic. Dr. Baquero’s professional interests include a one stop shop for diabetes care and providing patients with the latest in a variety of endocrine disorders.

Dr. Baquero enjoys staying fit by exercising during her lunch break and doing crossfit after work. Dr. Baquero has two young girls and enjoys spending time with them as much as possible.
